Referral Program
The referral program supports organic community growth by enabling users to invite friends and earn rewards tied to their activity. The program integrates with the KYU profile and tokenomics, with a focus on long-term engagement, ensuring that referrals contribute to sustainable ecosystem growth rather than short-term hype.

How It Works: Users generate a unique referral link to invite others to Open Academy. For referral activity such as lesson completion, course purchases, or match participation, the inviter receives a percentage of the referred user’s experience (XP), points, or revenue (e.g., N% of purchases). Rewards are granted in XP or their equivalent. The program acknowledges community contributions and enhances reputation within governance.
An extended version is available for influencers and key opinion leaders (KOLs): joining the KOL program provides additional benefits, including higher percentages, exclusive promotional tools, and access to partner reward pools within tokenomics (Ecosystem Growth). This establishes a fair model in which active participants — including authors and students — contribute to platform scalability.
The program enhances motivation by ensuring that referrals provide rewards while also building a network for collaborative learning, integrated into profiles and leaderboards.
