CourseSmith

CourseSmith Course Editor — an AI-powered tool, similar to Figma for design or Tilda for websites, that allows authors, from beginners to enterprises, to build professional interactive courses quickly, without requiring design, editing, or video production skills.

This is a key element of the Open Academy ecosystem, addressing the content shortage in EdTech: an increase in high-quality, diverse, and trend-driven content translates into greater user value, differentiating it from traditional LMS platforms.

CourseSmith is based on a modular “LEGO” principle: courses are built from components such as slides, quizzes, videos, on-chain tasks, drag-and-drop activities, and voice exercises — all styled within a unified visual framework, including consistent colors, fonts, and mascots.

AI-powered features support the entire content lifecycle, including content generation (titles, quizzes, descriptions), feedback-based improvement, automated conversion of documents, videos, and articles into ready-to-use courses, generation of illustrations and mascots, instant multilingual translation, and the creation of animated videos with AI avatars. Courses are visualized as an interactive map, inspired by Duolingo, with collaboration features similar to Google Docs, along with A/B testing and analytics.
